Merlaku Ra is a captivating music producer, engineer, singer, songwriter and rapper from Greenville, South Carolina. His Nu-form, Futuristic Blues sound is dedicated to those who have been shut out by society – the Black diaspora, dreamers, and the all encompassing underdogs. With over 10 years of experience, Merlaku’s creative process is rooted in the act of resistance and mainstream gaze. In 2020, he released his debut album, Wolves which was highly praised by peers, publications, and even Sounwave of TDE. Merlaku Ra has the voice and the production that immediately grabs you and causes you to ask whoever is on the aux “yo, who is this?!” He is surely a star set to explode and plans to demonstrate this with his forthcoming project Blitzkrieg.
